If you have been following me for a while then you will know that I have really sensitive dry skin so when Bioderma got in contact with me and asked if I wanted to try some of their products, I was all for it. I have heard of this brand before and have only heard positive things, so I was excited to try these.
They sent me three products which are all part of their Sensible range which is targeted at people with dry and sensitive skin.
normally retails for £10.80, but is reduced to £7.20
Normally retails for £10.80 but is also reduced to £7.20
Normally retails for £15 but is reduced to £10.
when on their website I noticed that you can’t actually buy their products directly from their website, you buy from other retailers such as Boots and Escentual so I will be giving you a rough price on these three products. As you can see from the prices above, I would say it is above normal high street prices ( especially for their original prices ) – but they specialise in specific types of skincare and if you are someone who uses these products religiously and you know they work, then the price isn’t bad. You get what you pay for at the end of the day.
Navigating the web
I really wanted to talk about their website because I love the set up of it and I love how helpful it is. When you click on “Our Products” there is a drop down menu that gives you a list of all their difference ranges within this brand and specifically tells you what that range is for. E.g – Sensibio, sensitive & dry.. so it is super easy to see what products you will need to look out for to suit your skin type – which is really helpful and easy to find. When you click on your desired skincare range, there are three different headings.. I cleanse, I care, I maintain (all of the products in that range full under these) which I love. It is super helpful (especially to those) who might not be big on skincare and not know the steps etc.. it is good to know what the product will do and the order in which they need to be used.
I really like the packaging of these products, it is very simple and sleek and I think they look lovely. I love the colours used, i’m a big fan of pink and white and they go nicely together. Super simple packaging, BUT it works!
As you can see from the images, I have been using these for a while.. (side note: the moisturiser is actually empty.. yup I finished it all) as I wanted to give you all a proper review and thoroughly try the products. I have been using them for over a month or two and I still love them.
“It is so strange because now that i’m not using this moisturiser, my skin is so dry. I have so many dry patches which is so annoying.”
So this is essentially micellar water and it does exactly what a micellar water should do. It removes your makeup effortlessly. It is targeted towards people with dry and sensitive skin and I have found that my skin doesn’t react to it. It doesn’t leave your skin feeling tight or that it has taken all of the moisture off of your face, which I love. I hate using micellar water that completely strips my skin. It leaves your skin feeling really soft. It doesn’t have a smell. On their website it says you can get this product in a range of different sizes from 250ml to 500ml which is good. I have just less than half of this product left and I have really enjoyed taking my makeup off with this.
When I’m not feeling lazy and drag myself downstairs to properly take my makeup off, I use this. I find this is also very gentle on my skin and my face hasn’t reacted to it at all. A little bit goes a long way and I have been using this for such a long time, it has lasted so long. I love the look of this product, it looks so cute sitting on my skincare shelf. It foams up really nicely and removes my makeup really well. It does however, leave my skin feeling a tiny bit tight but this reminds me that I have to moisturise afterwards. On the top of the bottle it has a little lock which is super handy. This product also doesn’t have a smell.
I have absolutely loved using this moisturiser. It is super light and moisturises the skin really nicely. If you have really dry skin then you will probably need the rich one. I did feel like the light one was a little too light for my skin as I am super dry, but nevertheless it still moisturised my face and was a very good moisturiser. I wish that it was a little bigger as I went through this so quickly, but in saying that it is so handy to throw in your bag and take it around with you. The consistency is really nice and it absorbs fairly quick into the skin. I have really really enjoyed using this and I think I will actually miss using it. It also doesn’t have a smell and my skin didn’t react to it at all.
Overall, I have really really enjoyed trying out this range. I now know why this brand was so highly spoken about because from what I used, this brand is brill. It is so strange because now i’m not using this moisturiser my skin is so dry and I have so many dry patches which is so annoying.
Have you ever tried anything from Bioderma before? I would love to know.
