Adding colour this spring

Spring is well and truly here and I am super happy about it. I love that all of the flowers are blossoming, the weather (is sometimes) sunny, the days are longer and people seem to be much happier.

I decided that I wanted to add more colour into my wardrobe this spring because I feel like throughout the winter I wore a lot of autumnal colours and I have missed wearing bright colours. In saying that, i’m really feeling the colour vibe at the moment. I am loving wearing a mixture of different colours, it feels fresh and new.. this is where I am at. Don’t get me wrong, I am still wearing the normal colours.. the blacks, the whites, the browns – those everyday colours. But I really want to make more of an effort to wear bright / colourful colours more often!

Spring is such a good time to thoroughly go through your clothes and have a good clear out, get rid of all of the clothes that you wore throughout the winter and all of the clothes that you no longer want. I also love purchasing new clothes for this time of year, such a new jean jackets, new tee’s and little dresses.

Pastel Yellow Jean Jacket – Primark (£15)

I love this jean jacket for multiple reasons. I wear jean jackets like there is no tomorrow, I think they are sooo handy, especially if you need a jacket but want something quite light and don’t really want to wear a coat. I love that it is such a nice pastel yellow colour and i actually wanted this for a while. It is slightly cropped and I did actually get this in 2 sizes bigger as I prefer bigger jean jackets. Such a good way to add colour to your wardrobe.

Pink Jeans – Primark (£8-10)

These jeans are literally to die for. These are such a lovely soft pastel pink colour that really mixes things up instead of wearing normal blue denim jeans. They are a little bit high waisted which is normally my go to kind of jeans. They are rolled up at the bottom too, which adds a little more depth to them. These are perfect for the spring and summer, because who doesn’t love wearing a nice comfy pair of jeans ( it may take you some time to find the perfect jeans, but when you do you will love them ). I love getting my MOM jeans from Primark, they last for such an amazing amount of time. They are fab quality and such a good price.

Primark, as everyone such a good shop for finding clothes that really fit every season for amazing prices. In store, they currently have alot of spring/summer clothes. I like going to primark because 1) I like that they keep up with the trends and have clothes perfect for each season. 2) I am someone who likes to change up what I wear alot. Some days i might want to wear a turtle neck jumper and other days i might want to wear a jumpsuit. Primark is good because i can buy whatever i want at a cheaper cost. Although Primark is quite cheap, some of their items of clothing arent poorly made. Their jeans are incredible! i swear by them!

I went full out on this day, I really wanted to go there with the colour. However, even adding like just a pop of colour is great. For example.. wearing all black and then a bright purple jacket! so fun and just makes an outfit more exciting.

I am feeling very positive about this spring, alot of exciting things are happening.

What are you incorporating into your wardrobe this spring?

I love the yellow jacket. I haven’t had any jeans from Primark before – but if you recommend them as ‘Mom’ jeans, I must try a pair! Your photos are amazing by the way xxx
