A bundle of joy

When I received this box of goodies I was completely blown away with the contents inside. The lovely team over at Sparkle PR sent me some gorgeous products to try out and review. Some of these products I have been using for a couple of weeks now so I am able to give you a proper review. Some of these brands I have heard of before and others I have no clue about what so ever. I was excited to give everything a go.

Missguided Boy Tears Body Mist

I love misguided as a brand and have brought many items of clothing from their shop before. The two missguided products instantly caught my eye and I was so happy to see these products inside here. The day before I received this box, I went into Superdrug in my nearest town and smelt the boy tears body mist and I was like “omg I need this in my lifeee” I didn’t end up purchasing it, but the next day.. this arrived and I was so like that’s crazy! How random though? It smells so gorgeous and since I have been wearing it everyone has been picking up on the smell at work. The body mist really lingers when you spray it, which is good because I hate it when the smell just disappears. It is 290ml which I think is a good size especially for a body mist. I am really bad at describing scents, but it is really strong and sweet. But not too sweet, just perfect (which doesn’t help in anyway I know lol) When I run out of this I will definitely carry on purchasing it. I know you can get them from missguided and Superdrug in stores. They range from around £8-£9, after using it for a while I don’t think that is a bad price because it lasts for such a long time.

Missguided Black Tassel earrings

I love love love the look of these earrings. I love the style of them and the colour is such an every day colour, they will go with everything! I see everyone rocking these sorts of earrings. However, these type of earrings don’t really suit me. Any type of earrings that hang down like hoops just don’t suit me. But I am determined to make them work and I am going to make sure I wear them! I like the little touch of adding different lengths of the tassels because it just adds more depth to them.

Korres White Tea and Bergamot Body Milk

I have never heard of this brand before but I think they are a brand that are based or atleast the product was made in Greece. I could be wrong, so correct me if I am. I have never tried a body milk before that you apply straight to your skin, the only ones I have tried are the ones that go in your bath. The packaging of this product is so different to anything I have ever seen before, it is made from cardboard and has a soft matte finish. The body milk is perfect for this time of year, honestly it has saved my skin. I have been applying it when I have a shower or bath in the evening, and then I will apply a layer all over my arms. Not only does it smell amazing but it leaves my skin so smooth. I noticed that the actual product itself isn’t thick but rather quite thin, which means that it sinks into the skin so quick and doesn’t leave that annoying tacky after feel. I have been really enjoying using it and have noticed my dry skin getting better. It is literally perfect for this time of year.

J.ONE HANA CREAM Capsule Cream

This is by far one of the bougieist moisturiser I have ever seen before. It is such an interesting idea for an anti wrinkle cream. I have never heard of this brand before, but I was so interested in the concept of this product. The product itself comes in little balls and you scoop them out with a little spatula that comes with it, and apply them to your face. You don’t have to put your fingers inside the tub which is good for sanitary purposes. Once you get one of the balls it bursts and then you can moisturise your face. I also really loved the packaging of this, it is frosted glass and has a screw on lid. I feel like this is such a luxurious cream that you could get someone for Christmas. I don’t feel like I will use this over my current moisturiser so i will probably give it to my mum as she loved the idea of scooping, for me this is too much hassle.

I have never heard of this brand before but was so excited to try it as I don’t really try an thing that is organic. The first thing that I noticed about this moisturiser was that the formula was very thin and it has a very earthy strong smell. I don’t mind the scent at all even though it is very strong, but after a while you cant smell it anymore. I have been using double the amount I normally would with my normal moisturiser because the consistency is so thin and I need something thicker. However, I have been enjoying using this so much and use it every single night.  Since using it I have noticed that my face just constantly looks refreshed and my skin looks glowy even without make up. I have never really reached for an organic face cream before, this opened my eyes up a little bit. oh also, the matching packaging to the bottle is so cute and I love it.

If you have read one of my lastest posts, click here then you will know that when I was younger I was obsessed with painting my nails and making sure they looked good. So when I saw this I was thrilled as I love my gel nails. I already have a gel set and have my own LED light but it is such smaller than this. I love the size of this one because it is perfect for travelling. Although, the size being so small did make it hard to do one hand at a time, maybe you have to do a couple of fingers at a time. The LED came with a cable and was very easy to use, you literally just put your fingers under the light and it automatically turns on which is good as you don’t have to push any buttons or anything. The only thing is, is that it doesn’t come with a timer to know how long how long you need to leave your fingers under there for. I was going from how long I normally leave them under there for. It said in the instructions that the LED light would lash when the time was up, but I don’t think it was enough time to dry the gel because later on the gel started to bubble and peel off, so I took it off.

They also sent me one of their gels which was called Pappa Don’t Peach and I thought that was so cute. I love the colour of it as it is such a lovely summer colour, perfect if you are going on holiday. The colour was very opaque and I applied two coats of the gel, however the brush seemed so stiff so I had to use one of my own nail varnish brushes to try to paint it onto my nails. The nail polish didnt say whether to add a top coat or bottom coat, so i used my own top and bottom coat, which could be one of the reasons why the gel started to peel off. The gel within a couple of hours came up all bubbly so this basically means that I didn’t leave it dry for long enough. I did the gel again couple of days later and the gel was fine and lasted for a good amount of time.

It was so lovely to receive this box and to have such a mixture of products. Once again thanks Sparkle PR for sending me these. Most of these products I will continue to use because they are really good.

What was your favourite thing and do you already have any of these products??
